What to Expect
You will be received at the lab section, your details and test types are recorded. The sample (blood or urine as requested) is drawn in a dedicated room with sterilisation procedures. After the draw you may leave; you will be notified when results are ready (usually within 24–48 hours for routine tests). Reports can be collected from the center or via the agreed channel.
How to Prepare
For fasting tests: no food or drink (except water) for 8–12 hours before the appointment. Small amounts of water are fine. Avoid heavy exercise before the draw. Inform the team of any medications. For non-fasting tests, no special preparation needed.
